Oh my word. Could NOT have asked for a more beautiful day! It was sunny and perfectly breezy outside. Praise the Lord. Today was just such a clear day. Physically and spiritually.
The quote in my journal for today was from Helen Keller: "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
My Utmost: Ps. 25:14
"-Leave room for Him to talk to you! He knows every detail of our lives, but loves it when we tell Him about them and involve Him.
-If we are saved and sanctified, God guides us by our ordinary choics, if we are going to choose what He does not want, He will check and we must heed.
-Whenever there is doubt, stop at once! Never reason it out by saying 'I wonder why I shouldn't?' He guides our common sense and we no longer hinder His Spirit."
It was such a joy to get to go to the zoo and see all of the animals that God created with great friends and and get to take pictures of them (the animals/plants and friends :)).
Afterwards I treaded water with Anna Magee again.
Then we had team meeting.
We played signs had worship and then continued in Ephesians 1
Here are the notes that I took:
God's complete soverignty over His creation
Prov. 16:4
Rms 9
Rms 11:32
Power of Prayer: we as believers have an impact on the movement of God. (Kinda crazy, right?)
Intercessory prayer. The direct line that Jesus Christ had before a Holy God.
Ex. 32:14 (Moses appeals to God's glory, His character. And God relented)
James 5:13-18 (The prayer of a righteous person avails much)
Luke 18:1-9 (Direct corilation between God and faith)
God had compassion. We are to PRAY EARNESTLY. to Interceed!!! Pray that He'll have mercy.
John 3:16
1 Tim. 2:4
Matt. 9:36-38
He has love and mercy and compassion. A God who is soverign and in complete control allows His little creation to have an effect on Him.
We serve a good, just and merciful God.
He is about His glory. Appeal to that, that He have mercy on this world for His glory.
When God is glorified His mercy abounds.
We are asked to PRAY. and then pray some more!
To seek truth.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
In Christ's nature and in His name, in tune with Him and His will we are to pray. Not with our own goals or intentions in mind.
Prayer is a reflection of your faith. Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ!
Stand in the Gap, fight for those who can't fight for themselves.
Take that seriously.
